Welcome Friends of St. John's
Transforming a Nation Through Christian Higher Education 
The Anglican Church is a major provider of education in Tanzania. At present the Anglican Church of Tanzania (ACT) focuses on the primary and secondary education, but the ACT has recognized the urgent need for university education in Tanzania. To meet this need, the ACT is committed to establishing a University of its own in the capital city, Dodoma. The Friends of St. John's University of Tanzania is a U.S. group formed to support this important task.
